AWS re:Invent 2016 will take place on  November 28–December 2 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Amazon has been hosting their showpiece conference annually since 2012 making this the 5th annual event. Re:Invent has been a great source of information for AWS customers and enthusiasts alike, it is designed to bring people of all skill levels to connect, engage and discuss all information on AWS. Session levels can range from introductory, advanced to expert. The 2016 session catalogue is being released later this summer, but Amazon have stated that their agenda offers expanded opportunities to learn how the cloud impacts your business, including deep dives into topics like IoT, new perspectives on cloud issues, and more chances to learn from the experts, with a total of over 400 sessions in total being planned.

Amazon Web Services will be holding another of its hugely popular AWS Summits in London on July 6th and July 7th. The summit will be held in the ExCel exhibitions and convention centre in the Royal Victoria Docks area of London. AWS Summits are held in venues all over the world and provide new customers with the opportunity to inform and educate themselves about the AWS platform while also providing existing customers granularity and content in order for them to add value and success to their business.

If you are an Enterprise customer or developer based in India, today’s announcement that Amazon Web Services have created two new Datacentres in Mumbai, India will be music to your ears. The two new availability zones will come under Asia Pacific (Mumbai) taking the total number of regions in Asia Pacific to six and taking the total number of availability zones globally to 35 and the total number of regions globally to 13.
