AWS Chicago Summit April 18-19 – 2016

Whether you are new to the cloud or an experienced user, you will learn something new at this year’s AWS Chicago Summit at McCormick Place, Lakeside Center. This free event is designed to educate new customers about the AWS platform and offer existing customers information on architecture best practices and new services. Come early to hear the exciting keynote speech from Dr. Matt Wood, GM, Product Strategy, Amazon Web Services who will be providing updates on AWS solutions, great customer stories.

Who should attend AWS Summits?

Cloud users from around the world, new or experienced, gather at AWS summits to discuss and learn about the cloud, it’s technicalities and so on. These events are designed to widen your understanding of the AWS platform and to gain success from it. Educational services are also offered, to learn the best practices for AWS like optimizing AWS performance, monitoring and managing your resources and security and of course cutting costs. You will also get the chance to meet the AWS staff and partners to ask any questions you may have. Training and Labs are offered at AWS summits along with technical sessions led by AWS engineers and hands-on technical training.

How much is Registration?

Summit registration is completely free of charge, Summit registration gives you access to the keynote, offered at every event, over 50 breakout sessions, hands-on labs, and the Partner Solutions Expo and reception.

What do I get out of going?

You will be given the chance to attend numerous breakout sessions covering a wide range of topics and technical depth including introductory sessions on new and existing AWS solutions and expert sessions that go deep into architecture and code. These sessions will be delivered by experts from AWS or expert customers who wish to share their experiences with the subjects and the lessons they have learned along the way.
